This is our video about the tiny Benin Kingdom in Nigeria today, The republic of Benin and the Ancient Benin Kingdom of old. While the Ancient Benin Kingdom referred to the British slave trading possessions, the present Day Benin Kingdom and Benin Republic are mere products of colonization and not related to the Ancient Benin Kingdom.

Why does the tiny Benin Kingdom claim they had a King as at 1235 AD before the Europeans invaded Africa and brought the Gregorian Calendar System?
